How much does a stork yard sign rental cost? How long is the rental period?

The charge for renting the sign of your choice is $98.00 plus delivery and tax. The rental period is five days. We will leave the customized bundle at the front door when we return to pick up the sign.

Can I send a stork announcement yard sign as a gift to welcome home baby and family?

Yes and its a great idea! We will deliver the stork yard sign with a personalized bundle for the new parents to keep.

Can I rent a stork for a baby shower?

Yes - we do one day rentals and provide a stand. Please contact us at owner@storkindustries.biz to order.

When should we order the stork?

Please provide 48 hours prior to the requested delivery date.

Do you have anything for siblings/pets?

Nothing wrong with a little sibling rivalry. We have add-ons for siblings and pets.

How long is the stork rental?

Five days.

Where do you place the sign?

If a location is not specified in the order, we use our best judgment regarding sign placement. We will choose the best spot for optimal visibility and adequate lighting/background for photographs. We cannot guarantee exact placement of the sign if you are not at home when we deliver or if you have not marked the location in the yard with a clearly visible marker.

Do we need to be home for delivery or pickup of a stork yard sign?

Nope. At delivery, we will use our best discretion if no instructions are given at purchase. At pick-up, we will leave the personalized bundle at the front door. We will not ring doorbell or knock on the door because we don’t wake sleeping babies.

Where does Stork Industries! deliver?

We operate within a 10 mile radius of the Kennett Square/Chadds Ford area, so we primarily serve southern Chester, Delaware, and a small portion of New Castle counties. If your zip code isn’t listed below, contact us and we’ll see if we can work something out.

Is there a delivery fee?

Every stork sign rental includes setup, pickup and the customized bundle with the baby’s birth information (name, date of birth, height and weight). The cost of the rental includes free delivery to any address up to 5 miles. The delivery charge for locations 6-10 miles in distance is $10.00.

Can I move, mow around or attach anything to the yard signs?

Please don’t for our sake and yours. Besides, sleeping babies and lawn mower noises don’t mix. Our signs are made to be visually appealing and last in inclement weather. They’re not made to withstand untrained individuals or errant landscaping. If you need the sign moved, please call us and we will pick up the sign early. If you absolutely must touch up the grass, please use extreme caution when mowing, weed whacking, or spraying weed killer/pesticides near the sign. Damage can (and most likely will) occur if any contact is made with the sign. Please do not attach anything to the sign, including balloons. When a balloon pops the sun bakes the latex into the sign causing permanent damage.

Okay… so I moved, mowed around, or attached something to the yard sign and now it is damaged - what now?

Seriously? We just talked about this, but here we go… We are not responsible or liable for any and all injuries involving the sign while on the renter’s property. The owner of the home in which the rental sign is posted will be responsible for payment of any damage to the sign while on the owner’s property. By ordering a sign, the homeowner accepts responsibility for the sign while on the owner’s property.

What is your refund policy?

We typically only allow refunds under certain circumstances. The bundles are customized and processing begins as soon as we receive an order. However, we do offer cancellations and refunds in the following cases: If we are unable to fulfill the order due to a shortage of storks, we will promptly inform you. Or if a severe weather event is forecast and we must pick up the signs early.

Circumstances in which we will not provide a refund include, but are not limited to:

  • If we are unable to gain access to a gated community due to a gate code not being provided or not working, or if the security guard refuses to grant us entry. We are unable to wait at a gate for more than 10 minutes while the guard attempts to contact the homeowner for access. It is important to make arrangements with the guard prior to the scheduled delivery.

  • If the homeowner or recipient does not allow us to set up the sign, or requests for the sign to be picked up prior to the end of the rental period.

  • If a dog or other animal on the property threatens us or prevents us from setting up the sign.

  • If the location does not have a “traditional” lawn, defined as a wide expanse of grass.
